Frequently Asked Questions
Why install catalytic carbon ahead of the softener?
Chlorine and chloramine attack the cross-linking in softener resin, reducing capacity and raising salt use. Removing them first extends softener life and delivers cleaner, fresher water to every tap — plumbing, appliances, water heater, and fixtures.
How is catalytic carbon different from regular activated carbon?
It is designed to outperform regular coconut activated carbon by at least 25% and is highly effective against chloramine, the disinfectant used by most major cities. It performs across a wide pH range (5–9).
What does the reverse osmosis system remove?
The RO membrane removes up to 99% of dissolved contaminants, significantly reducing TDS along with lead, arsenic, fluoride, chromium, nitrates, pesticides, pharmaceuticals, and VOCs.
Where is the RO system installed?
Under the kitchen sink, with a dedicated faucet delivering purified drinking water instantly — no more bottled water.
